Six modules.
Everything you need to birth with confidence.
Explore every lesson, exercise, practice track and learning outcome across our complete hypnobirthing programme, designed for mind, body and partnership.

Foundations
How your body works in labour, why fear and tension matter, and the words that shape how birth feels
This is where everything begins. Before any technique, you'll understand what your body is designed to do in labour, the hormones that do so much of the work, and why fear and tension can make labour feel harder. The fear-tension-pain cycle is a model first described by Grantly Dick-Read, and it's a useful way of understanding something real.
You'll look at the words and pictures of birth you've grown up with, choose steadier ones of your own, and take a gentle, honest look at your own fears. Your birth partner is in the room from the very first lesson.

Breathing for Birth
Four simple breaths for every stage of labour, practised until they feel familiar
Breath is the tool you carry into every kind of birth. This module teaches four simple, gentle breaths: one for calm, one for contractions, one for the most intense moments, and one for when your baby is being born. No long breath holds, no complicated counting, and nothing that asks you to force anything.
Breathing won't make labour painless, and it works alongside any pain relief you choose. What it gives you is something to do with your body when a contraction builds, and a way back when the rhythm slips. The lessons include guided practice, and two practice tracks, on top of the lessons, help you practise daily and on the day itself.
Lessons
- 115 minWhy Breath Matters in Labour
What slow breathing does in plain terms, why it helps when everything feels like a lot, and why little-and-often practice matters.
- 218 minFinding Your Slow Breath
Comfortable positions, breathing low, and finding your own natural count. Includes five minutes of guided practice.
- 315 minThe Calming Breath
A gentle breath in and a longer, slower breath out, for appointments, worries, early labour and the rests between contractions.
- 420 minThe Wave Breath
Breathing up and over a contraction, from the first sign to the rest afterwards, with three guided rehearsals.
- 515 minBreathing When It Gets Intense
The steadying breath for the hardest moments, what to do if you start breathing too fast, and the real skill: coming back.
- 618 minThe Birth Breath
Breathing with your body as your baby is born, working with your midwife, and how breath helps whatever route your baby takes.
- 715 minBreathing for Appointments, Examinations and Procedures
Scans, examinations, cannulas, epidurals, gas and air and theatre: how breath helps at every step, and your right to ask for a pause.
- 818 minPractising Together
Partner cues, a guided rehearsal with a role swap, and a realistic daily habit you can actually keep.
The Four Breaths
- Know which breath to reach for, and when
- Your birth partner can pace and cue your breathing
- Confident that losing the rhythm is normal, and how to come back
- Breath as a tool for any birth, alongside any pain relief
Exercises and Daily Practice
About ten minutes a day, anchored to something you already do, like the kettle or bedtime. The daily practice track guides you.
Hold an ice cube wrapped in a cloth and use the wave breath to rehearse breathing through a strong sensation.
Your birth partner guides you through practice contractions, then you swap so they feel what being guided is like.
Notice your breathing in ordinary stressful moments and use the calming breath. Log it in your workbook.

Self-Hypnosis and Relaxation
A focused, relaxed calm you are always in charge of, practised until it goes with you anywhere
Self-hypnosis sounds mysterious, but it isn't. It's a focused, absorbed, relaxed state you already slip into every day, and you stay in charge the whole time. You can open your eyes whenever you like. This module takes the mystery out of it and teaches you, step by step, to relax your body on purpose and find that calm reasonably quickly.
You'll build a safe place of your own, learn a few simple ways to go deeper, set up an anchor, write affirmations that actually feel true to you, and rehearse your birth in your imagination, including the possibility of plans changing. The four practice tracks in this module, on top of the lessons, are the ones to listen to most days for the rest of your pregnancy.
Lessons
- 118 minWhat Hypnosis Is, and What It Isn't
Everyday hypnotic states, what self-hypnosis really means, and why you never lose control.
- 215 minHow Relaxation Works, and Why Practice Matters
The alert state and the rest state in plain terms, and why little and often is what makes calm come easily.
- 320 minProgressive Relaxation
A gentle, pregnancy-friendly way to relax your whole body on purpose, with a long guided practice.
- 418 minYour Safe Place
Build a place of your own to go to in your mind, real or imagined, a picture or simply a feeling.
- 518 minGoing Deeper
Counting, paths and colour: simple ways to settle further, and exactly how to come back.
- 618 minAnchors: A Touch, a Word, a Breath
A small signal that brings the calm back quickly, with your birth partner or on your own.
- 715 minAffirmations That Feel True
Believable words for any birth, including softer ones for anyone after a difficult birth or loss.
- 818 minRehearsing Your Birth
A guided rehearsal in your own likely setting, including meeting a change of plan calmly.
- 918 minTaking It Everywhere
Calm on demand in everyday life and in labour, in any room, with any pain relief.
Learning Outcomes

Exercises and Daily Practice

Write three to five in your workbook and put them where you'll see them.
Agree a touch, word or breath with your birth partner, or choose one that's yours alone, and practise it.
Breath, anchor, safe place, with your eyes open, in ordinary moments of the day.

The Birth Partner's Role
A module of their own: useful, prepared and steady, whoever your birth partner is
Your birth partner might be your partner, a friend, your mum, a sister or a doula. This module is spoken to them, with you listening too, so you both know what to expect of each other. It catches them up on everything the course has taught so far, then gets practical.
They'll learn how to guard a calm space, use touch you've agreed, choose their words (and when to stay quiet), help with positions, and speak up alongside you rather than for you. There's a lesson on looking after themselves too, because partners find birth a lot. Giving birth without a partner? Every lesson includes what to do on your own or with your midwife's help.
Lessons
- 118 minCatching Up
Everything the course has taught so far, in one lesson, and what your birth partner's job really is.
- 215 minBefore Labour and Guarding the Space
Practical preparation and how to keep the room calm and private, while the team does their job.
- 320 minTouch and Comfort
Agreed, consented touch: massage, counter-pressure and holding hands, and when to stop.
- 415 minYour Voice: Words, Scripts and Silence
Tone, pace, short words during contractions, reading a script aloud, and knowing when to say nothing.
- 518 minMovement and Positions
Upright, leaning forward, hands and knees, side-lying and more, and how to support each one.
- 618 minSpeaking Up Alongside, Not Instead Of
Helping her ask questions and make her own decisions, calmly and courteously, even when things move fast.
- 718 minLooking After Yourself
Food, rest, breaks, and your own feelings before, during and after the birth.
Learning Outcomes
- Your birth partner feels useful and prepared, not helpless
- You're clear about what you want from them, and they know it
- Touch and words agreed in advance, and a signal for stop
- Decisions stay yours; they help you ask and choose
- Both of you know plans can change, and a calm partner helps most

Birth Planning and Preferences
Your options, explained plainly, and a clear way to make decisions that are yours
This module walks you through the choices you may face: where to give birth, comfort and pain relief, induction, assisted birth, and planned or unplanned caesarean. Everything is explained plainly and neutrally. Every option is a valid choice, and the decision is yours, with your maternity team's advice.
You'll learn five simple questions to ask whenever a decision comes up, and write short, clear birth preferences that cover more than one path. So if plans change on the day, you've already thought about how you want to feel, and what matters most to you, on every route.

The Fourth Trimester
The first weeks after birth, prepared for before they arrive
The weeks after birth are the part nobody talks about enough. This module prepares you both before you get there: the first hours, how your body recovers after any kind of birth, feeding your baby however you choose, sleep and safe sleep, and your feelings and mental health.
You'll learn exactly who to call and when, for you and for your baby, so you're never left wondering. The birth partner gets their own lesson on the first weeks too. Struggling is common, help is there, and calling is never wasting anyone's time.
